Hey!  We’re Andra and Sarah, the co-owners of Tailored Education. We worked together for several years in an elementary school before starting TailorED.  Like many of you, we have served many roles in education.  We have been teachers, reading specialists, instructional coaches, testing coordinators, administrators, and Higher Ed professors. After all of this experience, we founded TailorED to support other educators and make a bigger impact. In all of our roles, we strived to form relationships, make learning fun and engaging, and ensure that all students and staff members were able to grow and succeed. We now use that mindset, knowledge, and experience to help schools and districts do the same. All of our support and resources are tailored and customized, whether we are providing professional development, coaching a teacher, or analyzing data with a principal!  We take the time to learn where districts, schools, or individual educators are right now, their current initiatives, and their goals. We then tailor support with that in mind. This personalized approach sets us apart from bigger companies and allows us to help schools make meaningful changes and build capacity.  Our focus is on relationships and people, not materials or programs.  We’d love to work with your school or district, and together, we know we can make a difference!

Andra Bostic is a former instructional coach and classroom teacher. She has an elementary education degree from Virginia Tech, a master’s degree in early childhood education from Liberty University, and most recently, an endorsement in administrative supervision and leadership from Longwood University. Andra currently co-owns Tailored Education and The Principal Exchange. She lives in Lynchburg, Virginia, with her husband Will, and their three kids, Sydney, Myleigh, and Mason.

Sarah Murphy is a former instructional coach and classroom teacher. She has an elementary education degree from Lynchburg College and a master’s degree in administrative supervision and leadership from Liberty University. Sarah currently co-owns Tailored Education and The Principal Exchange. She lives in Montvale, Virginia, with her husband Scottie and their daughter, Ellie.
